Matt D'Agostini left early on in Tuesday night's game against Ottawa after taking several hits in the first period. D'Agostini did not return to the game and as of right now, no one is aware of how serious the injury is.
D'Agostini's injury comes at a bad time as the Blues are already without several forwards, but it appears that both McDonald and Arnott are close to being back in the lineup.
To compensate for the lack of forwards, the Blues have called up Evgeny Grachev who has NHL experience with the club.
According to Andy Strickland, the injury to D'Agostini does not appear to be too serious, but it is believed to be a head injury that is causing him discomfort.
The Blues have been waiting all year for a healthy squad, but injuries are a reality in any contact sport, and the Blues will just have to find a way to overcome them.
As of right now the Blues are missing forwards Andy McDonald, Alex Steen, and Jason Arnott who are out with their respective injuries.
More info on the Matt D'Agostini injury is sure to come in the near future, but for the time being Evgeny Grachev will fill in for him
