Exciting news for Blues fans today as Perron skates with the team for the first time since being injured around this time last year. Perron skated for only one drill with the team, and was wearing a red jersey to signal to teamates "no contact".
Perron skated in his usual session by himself, and then decided it was time to participate in a practice to get the feel for things once again.
"It felt good," Perron said. "I wanted to try it out with guys moving around me. It was just one drill. I had the chance to score a goal."
While Perron is still not close to rejoining team it was great for both fans and players to see him back.
No timetable has been set for his return, but it is speculated that he may still be 1-2 months away from returning.
Blues vs. Hurricanes
- Colaiacovo is expected to return (will be decided tomorrow)
- Elliot is likely to be in net tomorrow (announced tomorrow morning)
- Chris Stewart will face his brother Anthony tomorrow night.
- Will be interesting to see what lineup changes occur, if any.
