Kelly Chase announces that Blues forward B.J. Crombeen will return tonight against Detroit.

The return of B.J. Crombeen could not have come at a better time as the Blues once again are dealing with injuries to key players like T.J. Oshie and Vladimir Sobotka.

The Blues forward has been out since the pre-season when he fractured his shoulder in a game against the Dallas Stars.

His return is a bit earlier than expected, but it is a pleasant surprise.

Crombeen will likely play 3rd-4th line minutes and with his return, he brings with him his physical play and a hint of scoring and helps to solidify the Blues forward lines.

The Blues are close to being fully healthy (finally) with his return as both Vladimir Sobotka and T.J. Oshie are expected to return this upcoming weekend.

Kelly Chase also said that with Crombeen's return Ryan Reaves will be out.

As more details are announced this post will be updated
